1. Introduction
Archive777 respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Archive777 may collect, why it is collected, how it may be used, how it may be retained, and the choices available to users.
This Privacy Policy applies to Archive777.org and related Archive777 websites, accounts, document catalogues, artificial intelligence services, subscription services, and other features made available by Archive777.
Archive777 is operated from Ontario, Canada.

- Technical and security information: such as IP addresses, timestamps, browser or device information, session information, request records, authentication events, and security logs where reasonably necessary to operate, protect, troubleshoot, or secure the Service.
Archive777 seeks to collect and retain information that is reasonably necessary to provide and protect the Service rather than collecting information merely because it may be technically possible to do so.
3. Account Information
Certain Archive777 features require a registered account.
Account information may be used to create and authenticate accounts, verify email addresses, administer access levels, provide account features, manage subscriptions, enforce usage limits, protect account security, and communicate important service information.

4. AI Chats and Research Activity
Prompts, chat messages, retrieved passages, generated responses, and related information may be processed by the systems used to provide Archive777's artificial intelligence and retrieval-augmented generation services.
Chat history may be associated with a user's account so that conversations and account-based functionality can be provided.
Artificial intelligence processing may involve searching or retrieving information from Archive777 Research Collections and other indexed source material.
Users should avoid submitting unnecessary personal, confidential, or sensitive information through AI prompts or other research features.

6. Payment and Subscription Information
Archive777 uses Stripe to process payments and administer aspects of paid subscription billing.
Payment-card information entered through Stripe Checkout is processed through Stripe's payment infrastructure.
Archive777 does not directly collect or store full payment-card numbers or card security codes entered through Stripe Checkout.
Archive777 may receive and retain limited information relating to transactions and subscriptions, including transaction identifiers, Stripe customer or subscription identifiers, subscription plan and billing interval, payment and subscription status, renewal or cancellation information, billing information, payment-method type, and limited payment-method information made available by Stripe.
Stripe may independently collect and process information necessary to provide payment, billing, fraud-prevention, security, and related services. Stripe's handling of that information is governed by its own privacy practices and applicable legal obligations.
7. Subscription and Account Communications
Archive777 may use your email address to send communications necessary to operate your account or administer a subscription.
These communications may include email verification, password-reset messages, security notices, subscription confirmations, upcoming renewal notices, payment-status messages, cancellation information, account notices, and other transactional or operational communications.
Transactional and operational communications are separate from optional promotional or marketing communications.
Certain essential communications may be necessary to maintain an account, provide a requested service, or administer an active subscription.
8. Chat Deletion
When a user deletes a chat, Archive777 removes the chat from the user's available chat history.
Certain information may remain temporarily in underlying systems or records where reasonably necessary for technical, security, backup, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or legal purposes.
Archive777 does not guarantee that deletion from a user-visible interface results in immediate deletion from every underlying technical system, backup, security record, or other location in which related information may temporarily exist.
9. Information Retention
Archive777 retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate and secure the Service, administer accounts and subscriptions, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
Different categories of information may be retained for different periods depending on their purpose and the systems in which they are maintained.
When information is no longer reasonably required, Archive777 may delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with its operational and legal requirements.
Certain records may be retained after an account or subscription ends where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, accounting, payment reconciliation, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
10. Contact and Support Communications
Information submitted when contacting Archive777 may include your name, email address, message, and other information you choose to provide.
This information may be processed as necessary to receive, deliver, review, respond to, and maintain appropriate records of the communication.
Do not include passwords, authentication tokens, full payment-card information, government identification numbers, medical information, or other highly sensitive information in messages to Archive777 unless specifically necessary and requested through an appropriate secure process.
11. Cookies, Sessions, and Similar Technologies
Archive777 may use cookies, browser storage, session identifiers, or similar technologies where reasonably necessary to maintain login sessions, authenticate users, preserve settings, provide requested functionality, administer subscriptions, prevent abuse, or protect the security of the Service.
Third-party services used by Archive777 may also use cookies or similar technologies when providing their respective services.
12. Service Providers
Archive777 may rely on third-party service providers to operate portions of the Service.
These providers may perform functions involving payment processing, email delivery, network security, website infrastructure, communications, authentication, or other technical and operational services.

Third-party providers may also process information under their own terms, privacy policies, and legal obligations.
13. Security
Archive777 uses administrative, technical, and operational safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse.
Security measures may include authentication controls, access restrictions, network protections, monitoring, backups, software security measures, and other safeguards appropriate to the systems being protected.
No internet-connected service, transmission method, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users are responsible for protecting their credentials and should promptly report suspected unauthorized access to their accounts.
14. Disclosure of Information
Archive777 does not sell personal information to advertisers.
Archive777 may disclose information where reasonably necessary to:
- provide a service requested by the user;

15. Access, Correction, and Privacy Requests
Subject to applicable law and reasonable identity verification, users may request access to personal information held about them or request correction of inaccurate information.
Users may also contact Archive777 regarding account deletion, privacy concerns, or other requests relating to their personal information.
Some information may need to be retained despite a deletion request where retention is reasonably necessary or permitted by law, including for security, fraud prevention, accounting, payment reconciliation, dispute resolution, enforcement, or legal compliance.

As a result, information processed by those providers may be subject to the laws and lawful-access requirements of the jurisdictions in which it is processed.
